flinders street market | march

Had a lovely time at the Flinders Street Market on Sunday - met some lovely people, lots of gorgeous-ness to look at, the stall looked quite nice & I was pretty happy with how my new banner looks. The day was a bit warm, so we're looking forward to some cooler weather next month - I'll share the date once we decide for certain.

also, I just wanted to show off the beautiful dress that Mum made me before we went to Queensland last year - I love it & got lots of compliments on Sunday :)

...it's starting to get autumnal - not in the sense of autumn colour, but weather-wise - still warm-to-hot days, but with cool nights & crisp mornings - just lovely...

...spent a lovely few days in Adelaide, attending Writers' Week & doing a little shopping...

...listed a few new pieces - this, & these...

...had fun doing some painting/stamping, ready for a lovely day at the farmers' market...

...by the time this post, ah, posts I will have attended my first Flinders Street Market...

...got up early the other day to bake scones for morning tea - some of which may or may not have been consumed for breakfast & also, recently helped eat an awesome choc-berry tart - made by this girl & seen here...

...feeling a bit like the year so far has flown & been around forever, all at the same time...

Seeing: sunlit gardens, crowds of people, pretty dresses & books.

Tasting: hot coffee & fresh pastries.

Hearing: voices full of stories, emotions & laughter. 

Smelling: cut grass, fresh coffee & new books.

Touching: book covers & pages, warm sun & cool breezes.

Just a quick post to let you know that I'll be part of the Flinders Street Market this Sunday (March 9th).

The market features artisan, vintage, eco-friendly & unique goodies & I'm looking forward to being part of it. I have a pile of new business cards, a new banner & of course plenty of my handmade jewellery, so come & say hi :)

a few good things...

1. golden morning light - through a bathroom window.

2. my new, handmade purse - locally made & purchased at the farmer's market.

3. the pink crepe myrtle is flowering now too.

4. library books.

5. late afternoon light can make almost anything look pretty.

6. this delicious tart - ganache, berry curd & mascarpone cream - dreamed up & cooked by Kathryn.
7. the t-shirt I bought last time I was in Melbourne.
