recently...

...we've been having some glorious autumn weather - blue skies & sunshine - as well as crisp, foggy mornings & even a bit of rain...

...our crepe myrtles have been putting on a bit of an autumn show - one all in yellow & another in every shade of orange & red...

...drove out to the Beetaloo Valley to help a friend celebrate the opening of their new accommodation - a charming old building (built as a schoolhouse, but never used for that purpose), set in peaceful, picturesque surroundings...

...thoroughly enjoyed all the fun & extravagance that is Eurovision, it is something of a family tradition, as are the amazing biscuits my sisters bake...

...a beautifully sunny Sunday for market...

...have a couple of zentangle/mandalas on the go & got a bunch printed - cards, tote bag & poster, all from Redbubble...

...apart from the Eurovision biscuits, I baked a batch of not-banana bread last week & my sister made a gorgeous chocolate cherry cheesecake the other day...

...more faffing around on the windowsill, playing with pretty leaves or bits from my travels...

...& last but not least, it's my Dad's birthday tomorrow - Happy Birthday Dad! Love you lots :)

a walk in the park | veale gardens

A lovely - if somewhat cool - wander through Veale Gardens on Boxing Day...
