Some snippets of December via instagram...a sad & unexpected trip to Brisbane to farewell my Uncle...some tangling...christmas preparations...I really didn't take that many new images this past month - it wasn't an easy end to 2015, but we made it through & we're looking forward to what 2016 will bring.

Been enjoying playing along with December Reflections on instagram this month - even though I really haven't really followed the themes much. It has been a nice reminder to find & share a moment of life every day & it's always fun browsing the tag & seeing what everyone else is up too...

a day at the market | december

A bit of a hot & blustery day for the December Wirrabara Producers Market, but there were still plenty of people out & about, buying up gorgeous local fruit & veg for Christmas.

Our stall looked lovely & colourful - fortunately the wind didn't manage to run away with our cover or stock - & we had some lovely customers, caught up with some friends, were given some lollies by santa & even managed to get in quick enough to come home with some cherries this year.

to market, to market...

I've been madly making new jewellery, getting ready for a busy lead up to Christmas this year, with a market booked every weekend. I'm looking forward to every one of them, although I'm pretty sure I'll be ready for a break by the end of the month.

It all starts with the Flinders Street Market Christmas Bazaar on the 6th & 7th, followed by a Summer Sunday market at Beaumont House on the 14th & last (but not least) the Wirrabara Producers Market on Sunday the 21st.

& then it's time for a nap + Christmas of course :)

it's December!

already. This year seems to have gone by so fast. Nearly christmas time.

This year will be a bit different for us...we're staying home for christmas. Usually we head to Adelaide to see family, but this year we're not going down until after christmas. It'll be kind of weird, but nice I think.
