gallery wanderings...

Last weekend we visited the Art Gallery of South Australia to check out the Magic Object exhibition & just have a bit of a wander around the gallery.

Magic Object is really excellent (I especially loved Tom Moore's glasswork) & it's always fun to wander through the various galleries. We also treated ourselves to afternoon tea in the cafe, making for an altogether lovely Saturday afternoon.

QAG | brisbane

Glimpses of spaces in the Queensland Art Gallery (QAG).

They were in the middle of changing/setting up exhibitions, which meant various sections were closed - still, we enjoyed our afternoon meandering around, contemplating the artwork.

Pin-teresting...

Thanks to my sisters, I've found a new way spend time on the computer - Pinterest

You can create galleries of beautiful images:

Or cute things:

Or magical places:

or browse galleries created by others

So check it out - it's lots of fun, but ever so slightly addictive :)

New Business Cards

I finally got around to making myself some new business cards. I drew myself a logo -->
using my brothers' drawing tablet, which was challenging, but fun.

& rather excitingly, my lampwork pendants are now being carried by a gallery in Riverton. I met the owner of the gallery at a workshop last year & went down on Friday to deliver some. They were very enthusiastically received, which was a real buzz.

We're all busy getting ready for the Folk Fair, which is on the 4th & 5th of April. Lots of new stock the price, input & find room for in the shop. Not to mention putting together a new display for my jewellery in the space under the counter.
