there & back again...

We're home from our sisterly (ad)venture - we had a wonderful time, saw some stunning scenery, did plenty of walking (some parts more difficult than others), ate some really good food, laughed alot, did a bit of shopping & just generally enjoyed ourselves.

I'm home!

My trip was amazing - I totally didn't want it to end - but it is also very nice to be home. The five weeks flew by, full of walking, photo taking, eating, walking, beautiful weather, visiting museums, castles & palaces, train rides, walking, gardens, towers, walking...

I've been back a little while now & am doing my best to get back into things. Finding it a little slow-going so far & daunting too, working out what I want to try and achieve with the rest of this year - the whole beginning of the year was basically the lead up to & planning of my trip, so I have to do some thinking & planning for the next goal.

Have also returned with a somewhat overwhelming number of photos (no-one who knows me will be surprised), so it's going to take a little while to sort through them & workout which & when & how to share.

1.Vivid bougainvillea on the South Bank arbour.
2. My cousin's beautiful wedding - lots of love & laughter*.
3. The Roma Street Parklands.
4. Coffee & toasted banana bread at the Museum cafe.
5. Photos, lots & lots of photos - a few videos too. There might be a post or three to come.
6. All the city lights reflected in the river at night - from the top deck.
7. National parks, forests & waterfalls.
