...a few tangles-in-progress...
a couple of mandalas ^^^ (+ another not pictured) & I'm working on a big feather tangle - because I wanted to make sure I liked the shape, I actually drew the outline in pencil first, something I usually don't do for my tangles. Anyway, you can see the progression below, there's still a bit to go before it's finished...

recently...
...we've been having some lovely spring weather, sunny & mild, although I'm sure it will be warming up soon...
...we left for Brisbane, had an awesome time & were very happy to be home...
...lots to share from the trip, starting with: a few good things, some details, sweet things...
...new growth, morning light (here too) & blossoms...
...finally made some jewellery - life is busy at the moment & I've been letting it get in the way...
...some zentangles, a day at the market, opposites attract...
...we celebrated my youngest sister's birthday...
...a random collection of things you might not have known about me...
...I haven't taken many photos since we've been home - the top photo is from Brisbane & the other two are from a couple of months ago - going to try to remember to get out & play.

fine feathered...
Just wanted to show off my new jumper (sweater) from Sealmaiden. I fell in love with the gorgeous feather print on the neckline & am very happy to report that it is also super soft & comfortable. Plus it's that nice deep-ish grey that goes with pretty much anything.
I love Sylke's designs - wouldn't mind adding this owl pullover or this t-shirt to my wardrobe...

feathers & drops...
The other day I finally did something I've been meaning to do for ages....I took a couple of gorgeous peacock feathers & a dropper outside to take some macro photos. A friend of a friend has peacocks & we were given some feathers.
Except for the second photo, all of these were taken on the same feather....I just used the back for the first & third shots. I took a whole heap (not surprising really) & have already uploaded one, two, three to flickr :)
