Etsian Australian Flood Appeal
I wanted to write something really eloquent here, but I'm having trouble finding the words. I'm sure you've heard about the flood disaster in Queensland, which has claimed lives, towns & homes.
The DUST team on etsy has established a shop taking donations from sellers all over the world, with all funds (minus etsy and PayPal fees) to be donated to the Queensland Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal.
You can find them here: AusDisasterRelief. You can help by purchasing something awesome - with the proceeds going to the flood relief fund, or by donating an item to sell.

Beware of the.....parrots?
well, they're not that scary really, but they are quite used to people & certainly not shy...
There were a group of people taking each other's photo next to the green parrot, when the bird decided to make it a very close encounter...
these photos were taken at the Adelaide Zoo, in one of the walk-through aviaries.
