beside the sea...

Recently I had a stall at a weekend fair in Yorketown, SA & as that's a fair way from home I shared a cabin in the caravan park at Edithburgh. We were directly across the road from the sea (some of these photos were taken from the veranda of the cabin) & had an excellent view of the sunrise.

walking in the forest...

Last week we spent Wednesday in the Wirrabara Forest. It was a beautiful day, sunny but cool, perfect for a little bush walking. After some morning tea, we followed the Mt Ellen walking track all the way to the top (about a 6km round trip).

It was mostly fairly easy going, but the last bit near the top was quite steep. The view was worth it though...

& just for fun, some mushrooms we found in amongst the leaf litter...

fabulous fabric...

I received my package from the lovely ladies at Voodoo Rabbit today. I spent the voucher I won (plus some extra) on some of their Gingham Invaded & Babushka Dolls fabric & it's even more awesome in person :)


They also sent me a cute brooch, covered in the gingham invaded fabric.

I haven't decided what to do with the fabric yet....I'll keep you posted though :)
