Totally random post, just faffing around waiting for midnight.
I took this photo today, a lettuce that's going to seed in our garden. The late afternoon light is really lovely & of course I was using the macro lens. I think I may have to stop tagging 'macro' on flickr & just tag 'not a macro' when/if that ever happens XD.
One of my goals for 2009 is to blog regularly, so you may see me a bit more often.
May 2009 be filled with love, light, laughter & all the good things :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

magic mushroom...
magic mushroom...

This little mushroom is one of those pieces. It's purely ornamental, serving no purpose other that to be observed (& taken photos of). It's quite tiny, but I'm very pleased with it. I'll photograph & post some other pieces later, probably not until after christmas.

A wedge of lemon
I finally fired the pmc pieces I had waiting, including my lemon wedge pendant, I made it at the workshop I did back in October.
The workshop was taught by Barbara Becker Simon, an American jeweller & artist. I'm quite pleased with my lemon wedge, I just need to finish the chain & I can start wearing it :)
I took these shots with our new macro lens (which I love), the detail is awesome. I have even more shots, which may appear later (did I mention that I love this lens?)

Hello
So, I have a blog.....yay me!
I'll be randomly posting about jewellery making, photography & anything else that tickles my fancy.
I've just mailed a box of Bronzclay pieces to a friend so that she can fire them for me, very exciting. I have some PMC pieces to fire as well, hopefully I'll get to that tomorrow.
