all wired up...

Recently I was lucky enough to win a give-away on the Metal Clay Heads Team blog. They're a pretty awesome bunch of metal clay artists & I'm very glad to be a part of the team :)

Anyway, my prize is this gorgeous pair of (sterling clay) earrings, made by the lovely Pennee. They're quite gorgeous & the perfect size. I've been wearing them lots since they arrived (I think they rather suit me) & I love them.

You might remember that back in May I blogged about winning a give-away on Natalia's blog.

I received a $40 gift voucher to spend in her store - Realisation Creations.

Her store is full of beautiful things & choosing was quite difficult, but I'd had my eye on these gorgeous brooches for a while. I might have spent a little extra too....

I just couldn't resist these beautiful, bright earrings. The vintage beads are such fun & the earrings are light & easy to wear.

gifty goodness...

just a quick post about the lovely gifts I got for christmas last year (I started to type 'this' year, but realised that wasn't right, lol). Anyway, I got a hammer & anvil (for jewellery making, more about that in my next post), some sterling wire, a beautiful bangle from oxfam & a cute kitty cat.

isn't she cute? my brothers got together on christmas eve & made a cat for each of my sisters & I.

Happy Birthday to me...

It was my birthday was last Saturday & I had an awesome day. My brothers drew this amazing card for me, there are lots of different characters, including Mario, Tintin, Monkey & even Archie.

Mum baked me a cherry cheesecake & decorated it with dark chocolate...this shot was taken after we all had a piece...it was very, very delicious.
